I Wake Up Every Morning With A Headache And In Chronic Pain

Every morning it’s the same thing; I wake up with a headache and I don’t know why. Did I sleep in the wrong position? I don’t even want to get out of bed the headache hurts so much. I started taking aspirin and looking for other medicines to take to stop my chronic morning headache.

I feel dehydrated, so I drink lots of water before bedtime, resulting in a full bladder in the middle of the night, so I’m off to the bathroom on many occasions. My doctor told me to drink a lot of water too.

I found certain medicines can create headaches.

Pain medications are OK when used sparingly, be careful.

But did you know that most of them produce a headache and cause an escalation of the headache symptoms when used frequently?

Headaches can be amplified by aspirin and other pain medications by taking these medications two – three times a week, just as an example.

Taking pain-killers everyday can keep preventative medicines from working to there fullest. When backing off on pain-killer medicine, headache suffers find that their headache are less frequent and will stop in most cases.

So to stop my headaches by stop using painkillers to stop my headaches, how weird.

The whole time I was suffering from chronic morning headaches it was from taking pain-killers to stop my headaches. It just never occurred to me to eliminate my headache by stop taking pain-killers.

Although, when I stopped taking pain-killers my headaches did diminish, however they didn’t go away, I felt relief to some extent, but still had headaches.

You know how many different pillows I’ve tried, because I thought my chronic morning headaches were the result of my sleeping patterns.

My chronic morning headaches began frustrating me as I’m sure it would frustrate anyone. So I thought about how I was sleeping and decided to change my pillows. I tried soft pillows, hard billows, and contour pillows. Yet my chronic morning headaches persisted.

I even put pillows under my legs wrapped pillows around my body; trying to figure out what was a good position to get a good night’s sleep. And again my chronic morning headaches did not go away.

I finally got relief from my chronic morning headaches through chiropractic care.

After visiting with my chiropractor; he showed me with x-rays; I was getting a pinched nerve in my neck. I found out I have what is known and as a subluxation. I didn’t know what causes a subluxation, because my chronic morning headaches didn’t seem logical. It didn’t make sense, but I decided to have the doctor treat me anyway since I was sick and tired of my morning headaches.

I was surprised, because it took a few weeks, however the pain relief has been fantastic and I noticed my energy level has risen as well. I sleep like a baby, so the visits to the chiropractor has really paid off. I find that my chronic morning headaches are no more.
