Whether you work in an office or on a farm, we are all susceptible to the effects of stress. There are too many factors which can contribute to stress, but what is common is its resulting tension that resides in the body. When tension builds in the body it results in stiffness, tightness and pain in the muscles. A convenient way to ease these sore muscles is with a health massage chair.

There is so much stress in our lives in this modern era that we live in. We are hit from all sides whether from home or from work. These pressures seem to be increasing. In previous eras danger from physical harm was the major cause of stress. This acute type of stress caused what is called the fight or flight reaction. We are under less physical danger these days as stress has shifted to more mental stress. The type of stress has changed, but not our reaction to it.

Many people are reporting higher levels of stress. It seems that many of us are experiencing much more stress in these turbulent economic times. Although the financial markets are changing drastically, it is important to counteract the negative effects of stress on the body. This is important so when things turn around you will be in a healthy position to take advantage of them. We certainly have entered stressful times. The world is a constantly changing and evolving place. As changes occur, this can cause our stress levels to rise. We have to give up old habits and develop new ones in order to keep up with all of the changes going around. It is important to keep a pulse on your level of stress.
