If you have recently suffered from a sports or work-related injury, not only is it important to seek immediate medical attention (to be sure there are no breaks or torn ligaments), but it is also wise to get physiotherapy treatment. Physiotherapy is the process of utilising a number of manual techniques to restore, maintain and optimise general health and functioning of the body. Without treatment, your injury could take longer to heal and you could also damage it further by choosing to ignore any pains that you are experiencing from the injury.
