The feet regularly go unnoticed. This area of the body is typically forgotten until there is a pain or dysfunction that brings the need of attention. A Port Orange chiropractic professional has the skills necessary to alleviate the complaints.

The foot is a portion of the body under constant stress. This feature has 26 bones as well as many connecting joints, all of which have the potential to develop pains. Sprains, strains and breaks are common to this area of the body and typically slow to heal.

This area of the body is known to have poor blood circulation which leads to a compromised healing ability. The location, pressure and gravity all make this place on the body prone to low circulation. Chiropractic therapies are created to increase the blood flow and naturally jump start the healing process.

Since the feet are in constant motion and subject to pressure, the chances that the bones of the foot become misaligned are great. A chiropractor is able to naturally manipulate the area to lessen the symptoms. When stretches, exercises, and careful manipulations are used the pain and cause can be relieved.

Walking and standing is an important ability for many people to function in their daily life. Foot pain is unlike anything else and can severely restrict the movements of an individual. A skilled chiropractor may be the solution to alleviate the issues.

Port Orange chiropractic providers have a wealth of knowledge of how to alleviate the foot problems you may be dealing with. Your feet can affect the alignment of your entire body and cause additional health problems when they are painful. If you are suffering with this problem you will want to discuss them with a provider of complimentary care to lessen the pains that you have.

Pain in the feet can interfere with many of the enjoyable activities of life. For assistance, contact a Port Orange Chiropractic practitioner at http://www.portorangefamilychiropracticcenter.com now.

The human body is a linkage system. If any link is dysfunctional, it will cause the breakdown of other parts within the system. We spend a large amount of our lifetime weight bearing (i.e.standing, walking, exercising, etc..), which creates many forces and strains on the body, starting at your feet. Your feet are your base of support, and where problems may start or be corrected.

Every time your foot hits the ground, the ground sends an equal or greater force back through the body (e.g. long periods of standing and walking would increase the force transmitted back to the body). The foot first has to cushion the impact, and then change to become solid enough to push off of. It does this with a unique motion pattern called pronation and supination, which allows the foot to accomplish both functions.

If there is any dysfunction with pronation (cushioning) or supination (push off), forces will be sent up the spine, causing improper muscle firing, joint strains, and instability (i.e weak knees). This can lead to chronic ankle strains, plantar fasciitis (foot pain), knee pain/dysfunction, hip pain, back pain, and headaches.

Recent studies have shown that as many as 80-90% of our population has some degree of foot dysfunction. The most common is flat feet, or over pronation. This may seem like a lot, but it is analogous to all the people who wear corrective eye wear. There are those who need strong prescriptions, and there are those who only need them for reading or driving. It is the same with your feet. There are different degrees of dysfunction, as well as different problems. The main idea is to correct the problem as early as possible and to avoid long-term strain on your body. Even small dysfunctions can create pain and discomfort over the long run.

The most effective treatment and prevention is the use of custom fit orthotics. Similar to prescription glasses because it is unlikely you would buy a generic pair of glasses. Orthotics are corrective devices which are made according to measurements taken from your feet. Their main purpose is to prevent the dysfunction, and support the arch of your feet. This will help keep your feet, knees, hips, and spine in alignment. The orthotics should be thin enough to fit in your shoes, and in most cases can be moved from one pair to the next.

Most people do not realize they have a dysfunction in their feet, and few health practitioners have ever checked for them. By the time most people find out, there is already a problem. That means that treatment will also include spinal adjustments to reduce any irritation on the spine, an exercise program ( feet, knees, hips , back, etc..), and a proper pair of shoes.

There is no need to go through life with mystery aches and pains. There is always an answer. If you have never had your foot function checked then it is time.

Medical executives have special requirements when it comes to footwear due to their work conditions. Standing on their feet for almost all of their shift and working in areas where the floor might be slippery are two of the reasons for this. It is important that these professionals have comfy shoes so they don’t finish up with foot discomfort, which can lead to joint or back stiffness if not dealt with. There used to be some options for comfortable nursing shoes , however , these days many companies specializing in comfy shoes have come up with at least a few decisions.

One of the more popular decisions for shoes for medical pros is sneakers. This are sometimes flexible, slip resistant, and made with extra support and padding to make them comfortable for longer amounts of time. They also tend to have wider toe boxes and rubber soles, which are needs for this type of shoe. There are some brands that are manufactured by nursing shoe firms, as well as those available at any shoe store.

Those searching for cushty nursing shoes also often select clogs, either those with a closed back or an open back. These are known to be exceptionally cushty, and they are simple to slip off and on when needed, while not being sure to come off when folks don’t need them to. It is best to pick those made especially for nurses when purchasing clogs, since these will be more likely to have the special features that are helpful for nurses to have in their shoes. They’re also more likely to have clogs in white, which is still a need in the dress code for nurses at many places where they work.

Related Blogs: Medical shoes

With the renown of Crocs, these shoes have also found their way into the work wardrobe of many medical execs. Although they are not closed shoes, they are snug, which is the main requirement for shoes for medical professionals.

Although the above discussed styles are some of the most popular shoes for medical pros, they are not the only styles available. There are various slip on, tie, and other styles available, including Mary Janes.

Many medical executives still like to get their medical clogs or cosy nursing shoes through corporations which make these kinds of shoes particulary for nurses and doctors. This guarantees that all of the most important issues have been taken into account when the shoe was designed. They may be lighter than other similar options, or have more support and be more flexible. They also are much more likely to be made with non-slip rubber soles and treated so they are more easy to keep clean.

There are a number of brands that are particularly celebrated for making comfortable nursing shoes, including Nurse Mates, the Dansko professional clog, Anywear, Klogs, Sketchers Work, and Birkenstock, which many medical professionals choose over precise shoes made solely for them since this gives them more options for style at a fee that is infrequently lower than purchasing professional shoes.

Dr. Shaun Stuto, a chiropractor, founded the Transformation Chiropractic Missoula MT wellness center, a health firm based in Missoula, MT. Dr. Stuto works with the citizens of Missoula county to get to the root cause of any symptoms and help families achieve and maintain lifelong wellness. Symptoms such as neck and back pain could be due to underlying causes elsewhere in the body such as improper posture. But do you know that most of these problems can come from improper foot health?

The human foot is a complex device, with a combination of bones and joints. Its design is customized to fit the individual that it is attached to. It is a very complex combination of bones, muscles and tendons. It allows us people to walk upright and it is the main load bearing component of our body while walking or even just standing up.

With all the weight it has to bear, it is continually stressed by impacts to the ground and our own body weight. Even as we just walk, the foot has to take shocks every time it touches the ground. While the foot is designed to cope with these kinds of stress, its cushioning capabilities diminish when we age or if the foot is slightly injured. The muscles and tendons that limit the shocks lose their ability to do so, thus those shocks affect other body parts further up the body, like the ankle, knee, spinal column, and all the way to the head.

The body parts most commonly affected by these unsuppressed shocks are your ankles and your knees. But if left unchecked, the forces are capable of traveling up into your pelvis, spine and even to your neck and head. You might experience back aches, neck pains, and even headaches just from walking or running. The average medical doctor would prescribe pain killers and anti-inflammatory drugs so you could “feel” better. This is like ripping the batteries out of the smoke detector! The house is still on fire. The problem is the feet! The average chiropractor might continue to adjust your spine for “relief.” An applied kinesiologist, like Dr. Shaun Stuto will look at the big picture. The founder of Applied Kinesiology, Dr. George Goodheart, said famously “no matter where the problem exists in the body, look first to the feet!”

Back pain is mostly caused by improper posture putting stress on the spinal column. A foot disorder like flat footedness can also be a major cause of back pain. If you have flat feet, your feet will bear excess weight in places that it was simply not designed for. This would decrease its shock absorption abilities. And this finally leads to the shock travelling up to your spinal column, where it may put it out of alignment or create a subluxation. The opposite of flat footedness, highly-arched but rigid feet, can also contribute to the pain in your back by resisting too little shock. With little resistance, the shock can travel upwards reaching your back, your neck, and even your head.

With this newly acquired knowledge, caring for your feet should be a high priority. Part of that care is visiting your chiropractor and having your feet checked. Problems in the feet are not necessarily painful. Subluxations are much like cavities, by the time they hurt, the damage has already been done.

You should take the proactive action of seeing your chiropractor to ensure undetected and asymptomatic foot subluxations are not present. Transformation Chiropractic from Missoula MT can help you with getting to the root cause of problems like back pain, neck pain, foot problems, and headaches. More importantly, they will help you move beyond your aches and pains into a newer realm of thriving health and wellness. They utilize techniques like Applied Kinesiology and Neuro-Emotional Technique to customize a treatment plan specific to the patient instead of fitting a patient into their treatment plan.

True health and optimal wellness is the goal Transformation Chiropractic Missoula MT has for you. It is up to you to step up, take action and achieve it. They believe that true health is actually a decision and more than a matter of circumstances, luck or “good” genes.

Dr. Shaun Stuto is a Missoula Wellness Chiropractor and the founder/owner of Transformation Chiropractic in the heart of beautiful downtown Missoula, Montana.
