Osteoarthritis is a very common forms of arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative condition that occurs as a result of the cartilage of the joints wearing down over time. Its causes are not entirely known so far, but there are strong evidences that osteoarthritis is connected with the aging process. Over time, the cartilages begin to contain more water than protein and they slowly damage, leaving the bones uncovered, inflamed and painful.

Physical therapy is still very experimental, but this should not stop you from getting it because it can do wonders for you. Everyday, people do things that put constant strain on their muscles, causing them to suffer from serious injury. The sad thing is that all of these problems could be avoided if they new the right way to strengthen their muscles and the right way to treat them after they have sustained some sort of serious injury, rather it be sports related or not.

Seeing a physical therapist may be a good option if you are having back pain, neck pain, serious back pain, or shoulder pain. Even though a lot of people still have no idea about what this type of treatment is or what it can do for them it will go a long way in helping them to get over such conditions.
