Spinal arthritis is usually experienced by individuals 40 years and older, and can be a painful and debilitating problem. Causes range from injury, genetics and most commonly the aging process. Diagnosis requires careful examination of the medical history and physical examination. Treatment varies due to the severity of the impairment; however, most people suffering from it can manage well and have little or no disability associated with the disease.

Back pain is an annoying, often debilitating issue that many people suffer from. Usually, poor posture or using improper lifting techniques are to blame for the pain. Other times, it is a sign of a spinal issue. One of these issues that can cause back pain is known as spinal stenosis.
