Getting treatment for injuries immediately following an accident is very important. Knowing which chiropractor or massage therapist in San Diego to see is an important consideration as you trust your health to the actions of another person. Recommendations from close friends and business associates are a good place to start, but it is important to know the roles of the different health care providers that are available for you to be seen by.

When you have problems with your sciatica, taking strides to keep your back in good health should become part of your everyday routine. This goes beyond taking an anti-inflammatory or pain pill when flare ups occur. The real relief from sciatica pain comes when you make changes in your life to keep the muscles in your back healthy.

The neck, also referred to as the “cervical spine”, is in charge of many very important tasks. It supports the entire weight of your head (which averages about twelve pounds), it allows you to move your head in a wide range of directions, and provides you with flexibility. It is precisely because of these functions and the location of the neck, that it can be quite prone to pain and injury. If for any reason a person begins to experience neck pain, daily activities begin to suffer, as does the overall quality of life.

Many people suffer from Sciatic pain. What is Sciatica? Sciatica is pressure on the Sciatic nerve which is actually two nerves, the tibial and common peroneal nerve, bound together by common sheath of connective tissue. Both of these nerves form the Sciatic nerve, and they originate from L4-S3. Pressure or injury to the sciatic nerve results in sciatica. Sciatic pain can start in the back and go all the way down the buttucks, into the sides of the leg and foot.

Pain recovery from a disc bulge can be a long and painful process. It doesn’t have to be if you can take advantage of less invasive procedures. Successful Phases of pain recovery from disc bugle can be achieved through spinal decompression. Reducing the pressure placed on the discs and vertebrae can give a person their life back and they can live free from pain and the exhaustion it produces. By gently stretching the spine and easing the pressure from years of compression long-term pain relief can be achieved.

It makes sense to many people that chiropractic is the only healing profession in the world that recognizes that your body has the ability to function at its optimum level, as long as there is no interference to the master control system known as the nervous system.

As a chiropractor in San Diego, we have patients regularly tell us about some new invention for back pain. Have you ever bought something… spent your hard earned money… had great expectations… and then it turned out to be JUNK? Sure you have. Everyone has. Well, here is how some are getting a little revenge…Global consumer group, Consumers International has recently announced its bad product awards for 2007. The top prize went to the U.S. subsidiary of a Japanese firm, Takeda Pharmaceuticals, for promoting a sleeping drug for children. The company ran a television advertisement in the United States using images of children, chalkboards and a school bus to sell its drug, Rozerem.

It would be safe to assume as a San Diego chiropractor that at one point or another you have had some type of ache in your body. This is a pretty secure assumption. I would bet that you have also had some kind of difficulty that was brought on by something very small. Let me give you an example to think about. You wake up in the morning and walk into the bathroom and as you go to squeeze the toothpaste out of the tube and you drop the lid on the floor. So you bend down to pick it up and zappo, lightning sharp ache shoots up your spine and back down again. You try to stand up straight but for some reason it feels like someone is pressing against your back causing you to hunch over and making it nearly impossible to straighten up.
